Krosos MCP server

Krosos is an MCP server with 12 tools an agent can call, among them get_dashboard, get_net_worth_history, get_prices. It answers at https://app.krosos.com/api/mcp over streamable HTTP, and it listed its tools to an anonymous client, so no sign-in was needed for that. Our probes reached it 10 of 10 times since 5 September 2026; the last check, on 18 October 2026, succeeded.

Your accounting ledger as typed tools: net worth, holdings, history, tax estimates, trade logging.

Description as the publisher wrote it.

The 12 tools Krosos offers

ToolWhat it does
get_dashboardNet worth, balance sheet and current holdings, in the ledger's base currency.
get_net_worth_historyHistorical net-worth snapshots (one point per day where recorded).
get_pricesCurrent price per ticker with its source, quote currency and recent change, plus any manual overrides.
get_projection_configThe forecast/FIRE plan's assumptions (salary, expenses, inflation, retirement dates, tax mode). The projection itself is computed client-side.
get_reference_dataValid accounts, providers, tickers, asset classes and categories. Read this before writing: trades and adjustments must use these values unless allow_new_values is set.
get_tax_reportCapital-gains / income tax estimate for a year: gains, losses, exemption (including any carried-forward amount), taxable base and estimated tax.
Inputs: year, account
list_connectionsLinked exchange, bank and wallet connections, each with its sync mode (balance updates, or transactions staged for review) and when it last synced.
list_transactionsTransaction history as a human-friendly list, newest first.
log_tradeLog a trade (buy / sell / swap), expressed as from-asset to to-asset. Same body and validation as POST /api/transactions.
Inputs: tx_date, from_account, from_provider, from_ticker, from_asset, from_category
record_balance_adjustmentRecord a signed quantity change on one holding (a balance update that is not a trade). Same body and validation as POST /api/position-adjustments.
Inputs: tx_date, account, provider, ticker, asset, quantity_delta
refresh_pricesFetch fresh market prices now. With no ticker this refreshes every priced holding; with one it refreshes just that ticker.
Inputs: ticker, symbol
sync_connectionsSync every linked connection in one pass: push the latest balance into each linked holding, and stage new transactions into the review queue. Reports what was written, what was staged and any per-provider errors.

Questions about Krosos

Is there an official Krosos MCP server?

Yes. It is published by krosos.com and served from app.krosos.com, the vendor's own domain: https://app.krosos.com/api/mcp.

How many tools does Krosos have?

12, as returned by the server's own tools/list on 31 August 2026: get_dashboard, get_net_worth_history, get_prices, get_projection_config, get_reference_data, get_tax_report, list_connections, list_transactions, and 4 more.

It answered our last check on 18 October 2026 in 189 ms. Over 10 checks since 5 September 2026 it answered 10.

How do I add Krosos to Cursor?

Put the server under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json with the URL https://app.krosos.com/api/mcp. The exact JSON is above, with the same setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI and the rest.

Does Krosos need an API key?

It listed its tools to an anonymous client, so reading the tool list needs no key. Individual tools can still ask for credentials in their own inputs.

Where this comes from

Publisher: com.krosos. Endpoint host: app.krosos.com. ARD identifier: urn:air:com.krosos:mcp:krosos. First indexed 31 August 2026. The tools are exactly what the server returned; nothing on this page is inferred from its name. Ranking in Neuronto search is never for sale.
