Recalert MCP server

Recalert is an MCP server with 5 tools an agent can call, among them check_upcs, get_pricing, get_recall_detail. It answers at https://ajlswjtsikbnpicienyu.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp over streamable HTTP, and it listed its tools to an anonymous client, so no sign-in was needed for that. Our probes reached it 4 of 4 times since 16 September 2026; the last check, on 24 October 2026, succeeded.

The 5 tools Recalert offers

ToolWhat it does
check_upcsPaid — the main action. Cross-checks up to 500 UPCs against Recalert's unified recall database in one call. Requires api_key (get one free at https://recalert.us/en/data). Costs 10 credits per UPC checked ($0.01/UPC).
Inputs: api_key, upcs
get_pricingFree. Returns Recalert's pricing: human subscription tiers (Starter/Pro/Business) and the agent/API credit packages and per-call costs for this MCP server. No api_key required.
get_recall_detailPaid. Returns the full unified-schema record for one specific recall (fuente + numero_oficial): hazard, remedy, manufacturer, distributor, official URL, and versioned metadata. Requires api_key. Costs 2 credits ($0.002).
Inputs: api_key, fuente, numero_oficial
list_agenciesFree. Lists the four U.S. federal agencies Recalert covers, with how many recalls are indexed from each and when each was last updated. No api_key required.
search_recallsFree. Search U.S. product recalls from CPSC, FDA, NHTSA and FSIS by keyword, brand, model or source. No api_key required. This is the free hook — use get_recall_detail or check_upcs for the unified/paid data.
Inputs: query, fuente, limit

How do I add Recalert to Cursor?

Put the server under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json with the URL https://ajlswjtsikbnpicienyu.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp. The exact JSON is above, with the same setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI and the rest.

Does Recalert need an API key?

Where this comes from

Publisher: us.recalert. Endpoint host: ajlswjtsikbnpicienyu.supabase.co. ARD identifier: urn:air:us.recalert:mcp:mcp. First indexed 16 September 2026. The tools are exactly what the server returned; nothing on this page is inferred from its name. Ranking in Neuronto search is never for sale.
