Sanctions MCP server

Sanctions is a remote MCP server that gives an AI agent 6 tools, among them check_ico, get_listing, list_recent_updates. It answers at https://sanctions.cz-agents.dev/mcp over streamable HTTP, and it listed its tools to an anonymous client, so no sign-in was needed for that. Our probes reached it 6 of 6 times since 10 September 2026; the last check, on 19 October 2026, succeeded.

Sanctions screening for KYC/AML — EU FSF + OFAC SDN checks for Czech companies & individuals.

Description as the publisher wrote it.

The 6 tools Sanctions offers

ToolWhat it does
check_icoCheck whether a Czech IČO (or any company by IČO) appears on sanctions lists. Direct exact-ID lookup; pass `name` to also fuzzy-match if no direct hit.
Inputs: ico, name
get_listingRetrieve the full record for a single sanctions listing by its ID (format: `${source}:${source_list_id}`, e.g. "ofac:12345" or "eu:EU.123.789").
Inputs: id
list_recent_updatesList sanctions added/removed/modified since a given date. Use for daily monitoring against a watchlist.
Inputs: since, source
rescreen_portfolioPAID. Re-screen your own list of subjects against sanctions-list changes since a given date. Answers "which of MY clients were affected", which list_recent_updates cannot: that tool returns the global change feed, this one intersects it wit
Inputs: subjects, since, source
search_entityFuzzy-search a sanctioned entity (company, organization) by name. Optional country narrows results.
Inputs: name, country, threshold, limit
search_personFuzzy-search a sanctioned person by name across all loaded lists. Optional date of birth and nationality narrow results. Returns matches with confidence scores (0-100). 100 = exact ID match, 80+ = strong fuzzy match, lower = review needed.
Inputs: name, dob, nationality, threshold, limit

Questions about Sanctions

Is there an official Sanctions MCP server?

Yes. It is published by cz-agents.dev and served from sanctions.cz-agents.dev, the vendor's own domain: https://sanctions.cz-agents.dev/mcp.

How many tools does Sanctions have?

6, as returned by the server's own tools/list on 11 September 2026: check_ico, get_listing, list_recent_updates, rescreen_portfolio, search_entity, search_person.

Is Sanctions down?

It answered our last check on 19 October 2026 in 179 ms. Over 6 checks since 10 September 2026 it answered 6.

How do I add Sanctions to Cursor?

Put the server under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json with the URL https://sanctions.cz-agents.dev/mcp. The exact JSON is above, with the same setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI and the rest.

Does Sanctions need an API key?

It listed its tools to an anonymous client, so reading the tool list needs no key. Individual tools can still ask for credentials in their own inputs.

Where this comes from

Publisher: dev.cz-agents. Endpoint host: sanctions.cz-agents.dev. ARD identifier: urn:air:dev.cz-agents:mcp:sanctions. First indexed 10 September 2026. The tools are exactly what the server returned; nothing on this page is inferred from its name. Ranking in Neuronto search is never for sale.
